Submitting your service or product for a review
If you like us to write a review about your product or service, you can fill out the suggestion form, or send us an email.
Why WPnews?
WPnews is a dedicated channel for designers, builders, and small to medium-sized companies that maintain their own website. It is also a knowledge base for students.
- WPNews is mainly Gutenberg-oriented.
- We only publish about a product if we see added value.
- The publication will be in Dutch, with translations in English, German, Spanish and other languages.
Conditions for inclusion in the WPtools collection
- If we find the product interesting, we will place it in the WP Tools collection, which is free of charge.
- If it is a paid service, theme or plugin, you’ll need to provide a license for it.
- If you want a real (full) review, read on below.
Complete review and conditions
- If we find the product interesting, we may consider a review. Sometimes, if we find a product interesting ourselves, we send an invitation with an offer to make a review.
- License: we ask for a lifetime license of the plug-in (minimum 3 sites), theme or online service.
- The lifetime license is the compensation for the many hours of work to create a serious review, but is also necessary to do our work seriously. Because even after creating a review, we keep ourselves informed of changes and adjust a review if necessary, or on request.
- Support: We need an email address where we can ask any questions; this prevents the review from being incomplete.
- If a theme or plug-in has extra functionality, such as a WooCommerce extension, and it is intended to be included in the review, we also need a license for that; we really write about our own experiences.
- Affiliate account: If applicable, an affiliate account is appreciated.
- There are no further costs involved.
What can you do with the review?
- You can refer to it.
- Once the review is ready, you will receive a copy in English and Dutch.
- You may place the review on your own website and use it in promotion e-mails.

Aanbieden van je dienst of product voor een review
Als je wilt dat we een review schrijven over een product of dienst, kun je het suggestieformulier invullen of ons een e-mail sturen.
Waarom WPnews?
WPnews is een gespecialiseerd kanaal voor designers, bouwers, en kleine tot middelgrote bedrijven die hun eigen website verzorgen. Daarnaast is het een kennisbank voor studenten.
- WPNews is qua WordPress voornamelijk Gutenberg gericht.
- We publiceren alleen over een product, als we er zelf toegevoegde waarde in zien.
- De publicatie is in het Nederlands, met vertalingen naar Engels, Duits, Spaans en andere talen.
Condities voor vermelding in de WP tools collectie
- Als we het product interessant vinden, plaatsen we het in de WP Tools collectie, dat is geheel kosteloos.
- Als het een betaalde service, thema of plug-in betreft, hebben we daarvoor een licentie nodig.

Complete review en de voorwaarden
- Als we het product interessant vinden, kunnen we een review overwegen. Soms, als we een product zelf interessant vinden, sturen we een uitnodiging met een aanbod om een review te maken.
- Licentie: om de review te maken, vragen we een lifetime licentie (minimaal 3 sites) van de plug-in, het thema of de online service.
- De lifetime licentie is de tegenprestatie voor de vele uren werk om een serieuze review te maken, maar is ook nodig om ons werk serieus te doen. Want ook na het maken van een review houden we ons op de hoogte van veranderingen, en passen een review aan indien nodig, of op verzoek.
- Support: we hebben een e-mailadres nodig waar we eventuele vragen kunnen stellen; dat voorkomt dat de review niet compleet is.
- Als een thema of plug-in extra functionaliteit heeft, zoals een WooCommerce uitbreiding, en het is de bedoeling dat het in de review komt, hebben we daar ook een licentie voor nodig; we schrijven echt over we zelf ervaren.
- Affiliate account: Indien van toepassing wordt een affiliate account op prijs gesteld.
- Er zijn verder geen kosten aan verbonden.
Wat kun je doen met de review
- Je kunt ernaar verwijzen.
- Zodra de review klaar is, ontvang je een kopie ervan in het Engels en Nederlands.
- Je mag de review op je eigen website plaatsen en gebruiken in promotie e-mails.
